Buderim Mountain State School Parents & Citizens Association meetings are held in the Staff Room at 7pm on the 2nd and 7th Wednesday each term. We welcome you to these meetings, which provide a forum for you to hear of the progress of the school and the P&C Association. These meetings aim to be informative about the school and your child's education. New members are always welcome.

Objectives and functions

The P&C Association is formed to enable the school community members – parents, carers and interested community members to be actively involved in the school’s operations.

The objectives of the P&C are to:

  • Promote the interests of the school

  • Assist with the school’s development and improvement

The functions of the P&C are:

  • Fostering general community interest in educational issues

  • Fostering general community interest in school related issues

  • Providing advice and recommendations to the Principal and other staff members on issues that affect students and the general operations of the school

  • Providing financial or other resources through fund raising activities for the development of an optimum learning environment

  • Managing the day-to-day running of the Canteen, which employs 2 convenors, Barb and Sue who coordinate a band of volunteers. The Canteen offers nutritious snacks and lunches at reasonable prices
