Parent resources

Here at Buderim Mountain State School, we believe that a strong school-home partnership is vital to the development of children's social, emotional and academic endeavours.

Parent resources come in the form of newsletters, emails, PDFs, web links, texts etc.

Student Resource Scheme

A parent is directly responsible for providing the student with textbooks and other resources for a student’s use while attending school.
As a service to assist parents with the cost of these educational resources, the school may choose to operate a student resource scheme (the scheme).
The purpose of the scheme is to provide the parent with a cost effective alternative to purchasing textbooks, resources, consumables and/or materials from elsewhere, through reduced prices gained from the school’s bulk purchasing processes.

For the sake of our students, BMSS is committed to teaching and reinforcing appropriate safety and etiquette behaviours so necessary in the digital age.

For instance, throughout this last term teachers have been conducting weekly lessons on a school wide cybersafety topic taken from the attached compilation of lessons.

Depending upon the topic, the selected weekly lesson may have relevance for Prep to Year 7 or just for the upper school.

The entire collection of lessons is provided in the links below. As such, all parents are advised to save the collection and regularly reinforce the key points at home.

The material is easy to follow and is very concise with key messages.
